Encourages to make a difference

Finnish Centre Youth is a strong agent of change and Finland’s most influential youth organisation, where the members are allowed to have a voice of their own and have the opportunity to grow into a person that respects diversity and the nature. It is easy to join the Finnish Centre Youth as you are. The Finnish Centre Youth is a group with versatile sophistication that knows how to laugh – particularly at itself.

Develops the home region

The Finnish Centre Youth makes a strong effort to promote regional equality and stress the importance of the home region to people – regardless of its location.

Lets you be yourself

The Finnish Centre Youth sees diversity as enriching. The Finnish Centre Youth welcomes diversity and accepts all new members as they are.

Encourages its members to be good citizens

The Finnish Centre Youth encourages and raises youth to become adults that take responsibility for their own well-being and that of others. Issues are solved with the aid of constructive discussion and negotiation while cherishing diversity.

Maintains the relationship with nature

Maintaining a genuine and close relationship with nature is important to the Finnish Centre Youth. The Finnish Centre Youth is a strong advocate for the responsible and sustainable exploitation of the environment.

The Finnish Centre Youth thinks that societal decision making must be both people friendly and people oriented. We do not define the duties of the society and government from the point of view of capital management. Instead, we think that human well-being and humanity are to be regarded as top priority in all societal development.

The ideological basis of the Finnish Centre Youth is formed by the belief in people; people are, by nature, active and development-oriented actors whose intellectual growth must be supported. The Finnish Centre Youth thinks that intellectual development, i.e., becoming educated and sophisticated, is the starting point for the development of the whole society. The Finnish Centre Youth emphasises the intellectual side of human well-being: the opportunity to develop oneself, study, work, have hobbies, express oneself, have good relationships, engage in and be the object of active tolerance, be free, responsible, and improve the quality of life.

The notion of humanity is the basis for our four values:
Communality, Equality, Sustainable development, Education and sophistication

If you join the Finnish Centre Youth, we guarantee that you will have more activity and communality in your life. We also guarantee that you will have the opportunity to make a difference and a direct path to where the real politics is done. Persons of 15–29 years in age can become members.

When you are a member of the Finnish Centre Youth, you have the opportunity to directly influence the operation of the party and, consequently, matters concerning the entire country. You will also have the chance to participate in versatile training courses related to politics and organisational work, so that you can develop in both areas.
